The Rules of the BU Cheer team
General
As a member of the BU Cheerleading squad, you are required to maintain a GPA of 2.0, should you fail to meet this requirement, you will not be permitted to participate on the squad
Come to each practce, game, event, ect. with a POSITIVE ATTITUDE! Be respectful of yourself and you teammates. Repeat conflict with teammates and/or the advisor will be cause for suspension from the squad.Professionalism is required. If you have personal problems with a teammate it is not to be brought into practices or games!
Attendance Policy- All practices, games, and events are mandatory
If there is a situation that arises you must let Coach Amy know as soon as possible. Please note that Greek life, clubs, and work will not be valid excuses. You have the schedule in advance, plan accordingly
NO Drinking 24 hours before a game/practice
It is illegal to consume alcoholic beverages if you are under the age of 21. Cheerleaders who are 21 or older, and live off campus, are not permitted to drink alcoholic beverages within 24 hours of a game or practice. It may result in suspension from a gaem or from the team. BU is a dry campus!

Tobacco use is prohibited during cheerleading/university events. This includes, but is not limited to vaping, smoking, chewing.

The advisor or medical trained MUST be present while stunting at practice/games

Cheerleaders are NOT allowed to wear earrings, or other jewelry at games OR practice for safety reason

No Cellphones during practice or games. You can check them quickly at breaks or halftime, or if there is an emergency that you have made aware to the captains or coaches

All equipment and uniforms must be returned at the end of the season
